Ideally located in the heart of the Volcans d’Auvergne regional nature reserve, 20km south west of Clermont-Ferrand, the Lake d’Aydat is a dream spot for camping in nature.
Many services, activities and places of interest (Vulcania, Fantasticable, etc.) are located within easy access of the Lake d’Aydat Campsite making it the ideal way to make the most of your stay in the Massif Central.
Lake d’Aydat, Auvergne’s largest natural lake, extends over 65 hectares and to an altitude of 837m. Its outstanding location and reputation have led to the growth of numerous water activities (supervised swimming, fishing, sailing, pedal boats, etc.). Its lawn terraces, playgrounds and large range of summer entertainment guarantee enjoyment for both adults and children.
Situated in Auvergne, a region known for its sports and open-air activities, our campsite is happy to offer a large range of leisure facilities: water sports, supervised swimming in the summer, fishing, hiking, squash, Turkish baths, sauna, Jacuzzi, mini golf, boules, children’s games, table tennis, and more.
